Well known thing on Amazon to create new seller profiles and post up new items like this, nintendo switch and other stuff. Price it for really low, like SCAM low and they get your money and you never get your stuff. Also since its a reseller there is a chance you cant fight it since Amazon does not guarantee them at all. Many of them will have sub 5 reviews or even say just launched next to their profile.

Many could be and are a scam. eBay does not cover everything either. Have to realize that Paypal is what protects you on eBay. Amazon has addressed this before as its a loophole, they keep closing these scam accounts but they just open new ones. They are working on a verification system for those sellers. Both parties,buyer seller,are covered in virtually every scenario regarding fraud/etc….. Yeah,the $81.xx price for this phone sounds too good to be true. If it’s not a legit offer for a brand new phone,or,it never ships,no biggie,I’ll get my money back. I just went through this recently w/an Amazon order via 3rd party listing.The item didn’t show up during the ETA window I received a refund in two business days. About a week later,it arrived I had the refund reversed. If you don’t want to risk your money being tied up for a listing that you have doubts about,I get it,but,you’re really at no risk of losing your $$$ over a bad transaction w/Amazon.
KOLIO Gotta give some credit where it’s due: The “too good to be true” sellers turned out to be just that. Amazon canceled the order two days later,due to “Technical Reasons”. However,I still stand by my statement regarding this to be a risk-free transaction,I’ll have the refund credited to my card NLT tomorrow.
