The software, well not so much, don't get me wrong, the Lollipop is a real Android OS (many imported phones are reskinned over Kit Kat to look like Lollipop) it is the added software that is the issue. There are several programs that will load on bootup that are known malware and will eat your battery and can lead to privacy issues so be careful what you allow to run.
